Since first being setting foot in a Moksha yoga class back in 2007, Madolyn (a.k.a. Maddy) has found solace on and off the mat from what her practice has taught her. Although in the beginning she didn’t’ believe that it could be more than a physical workout… It soon became much more.
As she continued her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, she found that there was something very powerful about connecting breath to movements and finding the body’s most balanced state of being. With that, she went on to complete her Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario (her hometown ☺). Along with all her educational endeavours, her yoga practice continued to hold strong, until in 2013 when she decided it was time to begin to share her love of yoga and movement with others. Trekking across the country to Victoria, BC she completed her Moksha Yoga Teacher Training. In this special place, she found what she was looking for: the inspiration from teachers, mentors and other trainees to lead an inspired and mindful life on and off the mat. She recently completed her Moksha Flow training in May 2015, which has expanded her practice and teachings into new dimensions.
She is now a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic in Saskatoon, which allows her to help people with a hands-on-approach to your health and a brand new teacher at Moksha Yoga Saskatoon! Her teaching inspires others to live to the fullest expression of themselves. She continues to learn and absorb all of life’s joys from the energy and light of others around her.
